There is no other city in the world quite like Rome. With over 100,000 different statues and artifacts, each with its own historical significance, the city stands above all others. Although it may actually take a lifetime to see each sight, a budget trip to Rome is easily within your grasp. Finding a budget hotel with immense amounts of character along one of the city’s winding streets is about as easy as finding a gelato (which is pretty easy, you’ll see). Touring the Vatican City and Museums should be given its own day, and each place is worth your time. Also, the Coliseum and the Forum ruins offer guided tours rich in history. With places too many to mention, making a trip to Rome and staying in one of its cheap hotels is definitely one of the best decisions you will ever make.
